High Noon: Shoot Out with Neal Cobb

Cultural High Noon: Shoot Out with Neal Cobb

At noon on third Thursdays in the Reno History Gallery, author and historian Neal Cobb offers a documentary followed by a discussion. Our topic is the Latimer Art Club, founded in 1921. Lorenzo Latimer, born in 1857, was an acclaimed landscape painter who taught plein-air painting in Reno. His students formed the Latimer Art Club, currently an active support group for the arts in Reno and instrumental in founding the Nevada Museum of Art.
