History Introductory Tour of Nevada History Gallery

Hear about Nevada’s wonderful history at Nevada’s oldest cultural institution, the Nevada Historical Society. Explore the artifacts and customs of Native Americans, early agriculture and mining technology, transportation from walking through Nevada to the first plane in Nevada, and early gambling and slot machines. Learn about federal projects in Nevada like Fort Churchill, Hoover Dam, the World War II bases, and the Nevada Test Site. Following the tour, attendees may roam the galleries.
